SYNOPSIS:

THE SWEET LITTLE GIRL IN WHITE: Mr and Mrs Bott (Warren Clarke and Caroline Quentin) who, having made their money in sauce, have moved into Croome Hall along with their precocious daughter Violet Elizabeth.
PARROTS FOR ETHEL: William is inspired by his dashing Uncle Neville to give a talk about natural history that he hopes will consist of more than a dead dormouse. Meanwhile his sister Ethel has two rival suitors, with rival parrots!
THE SCHOOL REPORT: A calamitous situation where a somewhat negative school report, an exercising Mr Bott and wealthy Great Aunt Augusta (Judy Parfitt) all come together in a most unexpected fashion.
WILLIAM HOLDS THE STAGE: In an effort to impress the young Dorinda William must assume the role of Hamlet in the school play or ruin the entire production in the process.
