Luke Wilsons and Kate Hudsons sparkling chemistry ignites the screen as Alex and Emma, two eccentrics living the single life in Boston.Novelist Alex Sheldon has writers block. But thats not his biggest problem- at the moment hes being dangled over the side of his building by a pair of scary Cuban loan sharks with an ultimatum: Come up with $100,000 in 30 days or hes a dead man. Luckily, hell get the money when his new novel is finished.Unluckily, he cant even finish one sentence. In steps smart-talking stenographer Emma Dinsmore. Shes been employed to take dictation but ends up challenging, goading and just damn annoying Alex so much that he begins to write again. And as the words flow and the sizzling romantic novel takes shape, Alex and Emma begin to realise that sometimes life imitates art.
