SYNOPSIS:
|
Mount Everest, Freezing Atlantic Oceans and Himalayan peaks are but notches on Bear Grylls accomplished survival belt. Armed with British SAS training and an extreme adventurers spirit, Bear ventures into popular adventure holiday destinations in Central America and navigates his way back to civilisation from Belize and the Costa Rican Rainforest.
Belize: Dropped at the top of a 700 foot waterfall, he battles his way down treacherous rocks but slips and is left hanging by his fingertips over a raging white-water river. In the rain-soaked jungle he comes face to face with a 9 foot boa constrictor; feasts on the creepiest of crawlies and vine-swings into a huge limestone cavern only to find himself trapped by the swollen waters of an underground river.
Costa Rican Rainforest: Bear Grylls draws upon all his experience as a soldier, mountaineer and adventurer to survive the dangers of the Costa Rican rainforest, climbing 100 ft trees and down 120 ft waterfalls, traveling mangrove swamps, facing snakes and sweltering humidity.
