SYNOPSIS:

Taped at Dublins Olympia during a five-show stint in 2007, fashion, R.E.M. Live at the Olympia includes 2CDs filled with 39 songs from across the bands career, from newbies (Living Well Is the Best Revenge) to super-oldies (1,000,000) to fan favourites (New Test Leper).
In addition to the 2CD set, this special edition also includes a bonus DVD. Directed by grain-loving Take Away Show auteurs Vincent Moon and Jeremiah, the visual disc features 20 songs from the Olympia stand as well as behind-the-scenes footage.
The tagline for these performances was This Is Not A Show, as many of the songs performed were new and incomplete. As such, Live at the Olympia is essentially a live rehearsal set, but one that demonstrates REMs amazing and unique style.
