SYNOPSIS:
|
A ratings winning detective drama series starring Peter Davison (At Home With The Braithwaites; Doctor Who) as the offbeat detective Dangerous Davies whose gentle nature makes him the Last Detective his boss would assign to an important crime. With help from his gloomy and eccentric friend Mod (played by top comedian Sean Hughes - Never Mind The Buzzcocks; The Commitments), Davies sets out to prove his mettle and in the process unfolds a web of crimes proving that with wit and style he can crack cases better then anyone. Also Starring Emma Amos (Bridget Joness Diary) The Last Detective is a perfect antidote to the more gritty violent detective series and is adapted from the Leslie Thomas novels by Richard Harris, the acclaimed writer of award-winning A Touch Of Frost.
